For whatever reason, the encryption on my Airport card isn’t working. I have an iBook running 10.3.9. The only problem seems to be when the network is encrypted. Otherwise, it’s cool. Any ideas?

If you don’t want to use RSS, you can still subscribe (it’s free, unless you want to slide some $ our way šŸ˜‰ ). Look for the Squeet.com link under the Feeds links. Right now, it’s just for the blog, but I think you could use the other feeds there if you wanted to, but the automatic link is set for the blog feed.

Thanks to a beta from the people at Google, I have a new email address that combines the best of two worlds. It’s a gmail account, so I have a couple of gigs of storage and can access it via POP3, but a beta feature I’m testing for them allows me to send and receive email from my own domain name, so my new email address is:

Have fun.

New life and Shaun Groves

Today was a big day at my church. It was technically terrible (I mean tech stuff went bad). With that said, I was happy that two fun things happened. Shaun Groves had a cancelled tour date so he got to come to Quest. It’s just fun having a recording artist in-house. Now, this is the first time, but it was still fun. We “cover” a lot of songs, but having the original artist do it is something different.

With that said, I was excited about something else that happened. I had a friend who laid down his pride and said, “I don’t care what happened in the past; I want Jesus.” He’d been thinking about it for a long time. We’d talked about it a long time. He just realized that God had been pursuing him for his whole life. He realized that his life was not working out with himself at the helm. He needed to trust Jesus.

You know what did it? It started with a simple set of 5 questions. I’ll post them for you:

Do you have a moment where a transaction occurred between you and Jesus and your life was forever changed?
Do you have an overwhelming desire to follow Him (regardless of how good you are at doing so)?
Do you feel truly forgiven for your sins?
Do you feel a sense of lasting joy due to your relationship with Jesus?
Are you sure that you’re going to heaven when you die?

He said no to all, but the first and that was iffy. It wasn’t long after that he decided it was time to put doubts aside and receive the gift Jesus had for him.

Wow!

A new episode is on it’s way. I should have it up in the next day or two.

I didn’t like the site’s look before, so I’m tweaking it a bit. Please be patient with me. Hopefully it will look good soon.
