If I’ve seen it once, I’ve seen it a thousand times. People online communicate mostly (but, not exclusively) through the written word. Mistakes like substituting “your” for “you’re” or “their” for either “there” or “they’re” abound. I did really well in English class, but I learned something from this post–the correct usage of “i.e.” and “e.g.”
